University College Dublin, which was founded in 1854, caters for over 30,000 students from more than 120 countries on its 130 hectare campus in the heart of South Dublin. 

WRWC 2017 pool matches will be played on the University’s state-of-the-art grass pitches. The main pitch, The Bowl, has a permanent grandstand with seating for 1,500 spectators.

A short walk across the campus is Billings Park, where a temporary stand has been built for the use during the pool stages of the Women's Rugby World Cup 2017
