Live coverage of the IRB Women’s Rugby World Cup final will be shown in an unprecedented number of countries.
Broadcasters from Canada, USA, South Africa, Africa, Europe and New Zealand will be televising the match which is being played at Edmonton’s Commonwealth Stadium on 17 September.
The final, which kicks-off at 17.00 local time pits reining champions New Zealand against England in a repeat of the final in Barcelona four years ago.
The match will be the climax to an exciting afternoon of rugby which also sees hosts Canada take on France for the bronze medal (14.30 local time) and Scotland face USA in the fifth place play-off (12.00 local time).
